Bermuda Bound

Our last weekend in Halifax was busy with lots of last minute preparations and a bit more time with family and friends.  The kids had more time with Auntie Susie, and she and I got in a few more rounds of Splendor (my new favourite game.) We also shared a great evening with Nina and Julien and their kids hanging out in the shed.

After hours of looking at the weather and consulting with our "team" of weather watchers, we decided there was a weather window to leave for Bermuda.

So, with the the last minute shopping completed and the last items stowed, we are finally ready to depart. As I write, the kids are snuggled into their "nest" sleeping soundly and we are going to get some sleep before we head offshore.  Our plan is to depart today (Wednesday) around 10:00 am.

We will try and update our progress along the way!

Cheers,
Kathryn, John, Simon and Wavey
